About · tidep.xyz

A reading taken on a schedule, against a mark you already trust.

A tide is that kind of reading. A round is the same kind of record. The name is not a marine product, and we do not paint waves on the software.

Tidep, Inc. started in 2017. Ruth Ellison had spent a decade on municipal water rounds, first on paper and then in a shared drive that was always missing the photo you needed on Friday. Tidep is the record she wanted on the embankment: the route, the reading, the open item, and a pack that did not take the aide’s afternoon.

We are about forty people, in Pittsburgh. Most of the company is the product group and implementation. Implementation stays through the first shutdown or the first heating season, not just the kickoff. We are not a large sales floor, and the site does not pretend otherwise.

The journal is written by people who do the work, under their names. It is practice, not a funnel. If a sentence in it is wrong for your plant, it is wrong. Write and say so.

The notebook does not have to disappear. It has to stop being the only copy.

People you will actually meet.

Ruth Ellison

Founder

Spent ten years writing rounds for a municipal water system, first on paper and then in a shared drive that nobody trusted on Friday.

Ada Pell

Head of practice

Sits with crews before we touch a route. Writes the journal, and edits the report packs customers actually send on.

Marcus Hale

Product

Works on the record itself: the queue, the conflict when two people touch one item, and what the screen shows at 5 a.m.

June Okonkwo

Implementation

Puts the first routes in with the people who walk them. Stays through the first shutdown week, not just the kickoff.
