Overview

How a Tidep route, record, deficiency, and pack fit together. Start here if you are about to walk one.

Tidep is small on purpose. These pages describe the behavior a crew actually meets, not a tour of settings.

  • Start — The first route, the people on it, and what to ignore until Tuesday has happened once.
  • Routes — Order, notes, copies for a shutdown week, and what a normal reading looks like on the stop.
  • Records — A record is one visit to one asset: checks, readings, photos, and the person who was there.
  • Closeout — How a deficiency opens, who may close it, and what a hold with a review date is for.
  • Assets — A name, a place, and the checks on it. Add assets when a route touches them, not before.
  • Roles — Inspector, supervisor, and administrator. Works adds a read-only auditor who does not take a seat.
  • Offline — The queue is a count of records on the device. A killed app does not drop a photo that was mid-write.
  • Exports — A PDF pack that leads with open items, and a CSV of one route when a workbook is the right tool.

Search looks at these docs only. It is built with the site. If you are reading a draft on a machine that has not been built, the box is hidden and the list above is the index.
