The round has an order. Write that down.
A route is the list a person walks. Not an org chart, and not every asset you own. Reservoir 3 before Reservoir 4, because that is how the road goes.
What sits on a route
Each stop is an asset you already know by a name the crew uses. Under it are the checks: a reading with a limit, or a yes/no with the condition written out. Next to the stop is the access note. “Key is in the truck book, not the lockbox.” “Do not open the gate across the neighbor’s drive before 7.”
When someone new walks it, the route is the briefing. Tidep is not a substitute for knowing the plant. It is a substitute for hoping the person who retired wrote in the margin.
Copy a route, do not fork the truth
Shutdown week is not the normal Tuesday. You can duplicate a route, add the extra stops, and leave the Tuesday route alone. Notes stay with the copy. They do not drift back onto the original. That landed in 2.8.
No signal is a normal condition
Embankments and basements drop the radio. The route is on the device before you leave the yard. Readings queue there. See offline and the route doc.
Riverward Water started with the valves the Tuesday route already touched, not with a full valve census.
